Overview
Soft and chewy, Korean mochi bread has found its way to China. Bakels Mochi Bread Mix is a convenient way to produce Mochi bread in craft and industrial bakeries.
1. Combine shortening, vegetable oil and Mochi Bread Mix and mix until smooth.
2. Add eggs and water and mix for 2 minutes on medium speed, two 2 minutes on fast speed, then add the sesame seeds.
3. Place the pastry into a pastry bag and mould into balls of 3-4cm (about 15g) in diameter on a baking tray.
4. Bake at 180_ for 16-18 minutes.
